Ever since I last updated my computer a couple of days ago, using Microsoft Update, I've been getting a strange icon in my icon tray for "BDA TV Monitor." When i click it, or right click it, all I get is "exit" What is this? and how do iI get rid of it?

A: I think it is part of software related to a TV card, do not think it came from microsoft, unless you selected other software or hardware updates.
Go to start run and type in msconfig and hit ok select the startup tab and look for a similar entry BDA or similar and uncheck the box, hit ok and reboot, check the box "do not show this again" and ok after reboot.
Q:i've tried the msconfig. i can't find anything that says bda. i even searched my registry and i can't find anything which has BDA as a process. and also i can't find much about it when i google it.
A: Start/run/ services.msc see if it is a service that was installed you can disable it here.
Q-A: i found that the bda monitor is the process "emMON.exe" but i havn't figured out what it's for yet
